As a full-time mother, caregiver, humanitarian, and Women in STEM Advocate, I was inspired by a group of professional Women in STEM careers to lead the cause to help more underrepresented girls and women. The National STEM Society was born as a grassroots 501c3 charity to offer STEM education enrichment, exhibits, mobile laboratories, and activities as agents of change in underserved communities across cultures. We support the struggle of girls and women interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics higher educational studies, careers, and industry fields after 5th grade.
